FERTILIZER

Fertilizer, it is a natural and artificial substance containing the chemical elements that helps the plants in their growth and productiveness of plant. Fertilizer helps to enhance the natural fertility of the soil or replace chemical substances by the soil which are used in previous crops. Fertilizer helps the plant regulators for their proper vegetative growth of plants.

Fertilizers are spread in soil to increase the soil fertility and micro- organisms, which helps in proper growth in plants. The chemical elements are contained by fertilizer is potassium (K), Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), etc. These all elements help the plant to improve the growth and productiveness of plants. Some synonyms include the terms "enrichment" or  "plant nutrient".

Types

Organic fertilizer

Natural fertilizer derived from plants and animals are known as organic fertilizer. by adding organic matter inn soil it enrich the soil nutrients and soil itself. Organic matter boost the amount of organic matter in the soil, and after the physical and chemical composition of the soil one of the essential food in green plants.

Inorganic fertilizer

Chemical fertilizers which are added in soil to increase their physical and chemical health and generate
the chemical techniques that contain nutrients for crop growth are known as inorganic fertilizers

The types of inorganic fertilizer are-
Nitrogen fertilizer
Phosphorus fertilizer
Potassium fertilizer

Importance of fertilizers

Agriculture output has declined due to pest, a shortage of fertilizer and shortage of fertilizers in agriculture. Fertilizers improve the quality and health of crops which helps in proper vegetative growth and increase the soil fertility. Which helps the increase in yield and production and helps in livestock.

1) Fertilizers increase the water holding capacity of the plants and increase root depth.

2) The phosphorus helps in faster development of roots and formation of seeds in plants.

3) Nitrogen in the fertilizers promotes plant growth and in green plants.

4) Fertilizer helps in providing or increase the micro-organisms and organic matter.

5) Fertilizer are essential to the plants so that they are green in color and healthy.
